DR WES HENDRICKS
Growing up as a surfer, skateboarder and all-around athlete, Wes was fascinated by and driven to pursue exercise science. After becoming frustrated with the lack of or misinformation available for athletes who were in pain but wanted to continue training, Wes decided to forge a better option by becoming a doctor.
Wes received his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, OR in 2014. Soon after, he completed his clinical externship at Beth Israel Hospital’s Spine Center.
In 2014, Wes began clinical practice at Reebok CrossFit Back Bay and Brick CrossFit honing his expertise in training while injured. In addition to developing his practice, Wes competed in the CrossFit Regionals as an individual athlete as well as being a top finisher in the CrossFit Open.
Moving down south in 2017, Wes founded Rebuild Health + Performance, the bespoke chiropractic and manual therapy clinic located in downtown Charleston dedicated to discovering the source of pain and empowering patients with the knowledge and applications to get their body back.
In 2018, Wes expanded his practice to include Rebuild Brand Co., providing online programming coupled with personal consultation to reach and serve fellow coaches/trainers, competitors and every day athletes across the country with personalized plans and programs to move out of pain.
This year, Wes was also invited to join the Rhapsody Brain Trust, the mind meld of health, nutrition and wellness experts hand-selected to help members become their best insight and outside the box.
When Wes isn’t helping his patients, you’ll find him hanging from a bar at Rhapsody CrossFit or hanging out with Benny, his beloved American Staffordshire Terrier and ReBuild mascot, and catching some waves.

BENNY HENDRICKS
Benny, an American Staffordshire Terrier, is originally from Maui, Hawaii. He is very well traveled, living in Portland, Boston and now Charleston.
Benny is all about taking naps on the couch and chasing squirrels. You will often find him living his best life around town or hanging at Rhapsody while Dr. Wes sees patients.
If you see Benny, make sure to give him a high five, or better yet … a treat!
